Get the grind wrong, misjudge the dose, or tamp unevenly, and the same machine that pulled a great shot yesterday pulls a mediocre one today. The Sage Barista Touch Impress solves this differently to most machines on the market, not by hiding the process behind full automation, but by guiding you through it properly every time.\n\nA touchscreen that actually teaches technique\n\nThe Guided Barista Experience is the core of this machine. Rather than assuming prior knowledge, the touchscreen walks you through grind, dose and tamp step by step, cueing the right actions as you go. That means whoever is standing at the machine, trained barista or first-timer, ends up following the same proven process, and the results stay consistent regardless of who made the drink.\n\nFourteen presets, one machine\n\nFlat White, Latte, Cappuccino and Espresso cover the essentials, but Tea, Cold Brew and Espresso Martini push this well past a standard coffee machine. For an office that wants one unit to handle a normal coffee run and an occasional social drinks moment, or a hospitality setting serving a genuinely varied menu, that range removes the need for separate equipment.\n\nCold brew, built in\n\nCold brew usually means a separate steeping process or a dedicated appliance taking up counter space. Here it is one preset away on the same machine. That is a real point of difference, it means the machine stays useful and relevant through summer rather than being a hot-drinks-only unit for half the year.\n\nPrecision underneath the simplicity\n\nThermoJet heating gets the machine ready in around 3 seconds, and the integrated conical burr grinder offers 30 grind settings with single-touch dosing. The touchscreen keeps day-to-day operation simple, but the hardware underneath is genuinely precise, which is what makes the guided results actually good rather than just fast.\n\nThe short version\n\nThe Sage Barista Touch Impress is built for teams, not solo hobbyists. The Guided Barista Experience puts consistent technique within reach of anyone, 14 presets and a built-in cold brew function cover a drinks range well beyond straight coffee, and ThermoJet heating with a precision grinder means none of that comes at the cost of quality. For a business that wants proper results without relying on one trained operator, it is a strong fit.", "llm_summary": "The Sage Barista Touch Impress (SES882SST4GUK1) is a fully automatic espresso machine built around the Guided Barista Experience, a touchscreen interface that provides step-by-step guidance for grind, dose and tamp, aimed at consistent results without prior barista training. It offers 14 presets including Flat White, Latte, Cappuccino, Espresso, Tea, Cold Brew and Espresso Martini, plus a built-in cold brew function. ThermoJet heating gives a roughly 3-second heat-up time, and an integrated hardened steel conical burr grinder provides 30 grind settings with single-touch dosing. It runs on 1700 watts, weighs 13.79 kg, measures 34 x 36 x 41.5 cm, is finished in Sea Salt, and carries a 2 year manufacturer warranty. It is positioned as the guided, touchscreen-led alternative to the more manual Sage Oracle Jet for teams that want prompted technique rather than full hands-on control.", "returnable": true, "return_policy": "Statutory 14-day UK cancellation right (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)", "shipping_profile": "standard", "warranty": "2 year manufacturer warranty", "brand": "Commercial Coffee Machines", "gtin": null, "mpn": null, "condition": "new", "url": "https://coffeemachinesforbusiness.co.uk/sage-barista-touch-impress-espresso-machine/", "canonical_url": "https://coffeemachinesforbusiness.co.uk/sage-barista-touch-impress-espresso-machine/", "json_url": "https://coffeemachinesforbusiness.co.uk/api/products/sage-barista-touch-impress-espresso-machine.json", "updated_at": "2026-10-10", "compare_at_price": 1379.95 }
