The De'Longhi Primadonna Elite Experience does not. Its Bluetooth connection to De'Longhi's app means you can start a drink, adjust the strength or check on the milk system from your phone before you have even walked into the kitchen. For a busy office or a household with a packed morning routine, that small shift removes the waiting entirely.\n\nThe fully programmable touchscreen backs this up on the machine itself. Every setting is a tap away, laid out clearly rather than buried in menus, so first-time users are not left guessing what a row of unlabelled buttons does.\n\nHot and iced, done properly\n\nPlenty of machines claim to do iced coffee by pouring a hot shot over ice cubes. The result is usually diluted, unevenly cooled, and nothing like a proper iced drink. The Primadonna Elite Experience uses a dedicated process built specifically for cold serving, producing iced coffee and iced milk drinks that actually taste balanced. If your household or office leans on iced coffee through the warmer months, this is a functional reason to choose this machine over a typical bean-to-cup competitor, not just a specification on a list.\n\nEveryone gets their own coffee\n\nThe ability to select, customise and store favourite drinks solves the most common frustration with a shared machine: having to reset your exact preferences every single time. Strength, milk quantity, cup size, all of it can be saved against a profile, so the next person's order does not overwrite yours. In a shared office kitchen this alone can be worth the upgrade over a simpler bean-to-cup machine.\n\nWhere it sits in the range\n\nThe Primadonna Elite Experience is deliberately positioned above the De'Longhi Primadonna Soul, adding app connectivity and iced drink capability that the Soul does not offer, while sitting below flagship machines built for higher daily volumes. If you already like what the Primadonna Soul offers but want app control and proper cold drinks, this is the natural next step. If you need an even higher-volume, top-tier machine, look further up the range.\n\nThe short version\n\nThe De'Longhi Primadonna Elite Experience pairs app control and a fully programmable touchscreen with genuine hot and iced drink capability, and lets every user save their own favourite. It is a considered upper-mid choice for anyone who wants café-level variety without a barista on staff.", "llm_summary": "The De'Longhi Primadonna Elite Experience ECAM650.85.MS is a fully automatic bean-to-cup coffee machine with Bluetooth app control, a fully programmable touchscreen, and the ability to make both hot and iced coffee and milk drinks.
